A unique strategy and play is necessary to win over GATE exam.. Just simply follow the below steps how to crack the GATE 2016 in limited time.
Strategy: Divide Each Gate subject in to certain parts, say 4 to 7. Dont divide the subject into too less or too excessive parts. ( divide with common sense) Example For EC or EE syllabus, considering a subject of Control systems, divide as below. part 1.) Basics part 2.) Time response analysis part 3.) Frequency response analysis part 4.) Compensators and controllers part 5.) State space analysis
sub topics under each part will be understood by yourself, i suppose. Now take part.1, basics, read all the related theoretical concepts and fundamentals only from basics, allot a time say half or one day maximum . Say In half day see that you read all the theory and remaining half day do all the previous GATE and ES problems or from various sources only from basics.( like block diagrams, SFGs, TF, models etc etc). Now your done with part one. Repeat the same for remaining parts, by allotting proper time based on your strength of the subject. don't allot too much time for each topic. If your bored of one subject continuously you can start the same for another subject and do two subjects parallely by allotting time. One thing you have to notice that, your practicing both theory and problems parallely topic by topic in sequence. this will fetch you a damn good knowledge and command on both theory and problems to crack the GATE and even IES. Reading Theory, theory till end of the GATE exam is useless practice by so many students, please dont do this. From problems you can learn so many new things as well. The same way of preparing for Gate can be done for any stream. Say control systems has taken 8 days to finish it off. For 10 ECE subjects ( including Maths and aptitude) in gate it takes 80 days. roughly three month . Hope right from now three months, which are enough to get you into IITs or Jobs.
